This scene of this story where there is a boy whose parents both did not earn much money but spent a lot. Their son who wanted his mother to br lucky, decided to join his Uncle and one of his servant in horse betting. at first he makes money and decides to give it to his mother as a birthday. However, following these events he loses a few races and becomese rather depressed. And the last rce before he dies, the Derby meant a lot to him. He said that by riding on his toy horse he could know who would win the race. But after he wins a total of 80, 000 pounds he dies.
